A vicious alien creature that has been trapped in a cave for 900 years, gets unearthed during an archaeological dig in the middle of a desolate town in New Mexico. As the carnage escalates, a local female sheriff (Emmanuelle Vaugier) battling alcoholism and her personal demons, teams up with a group of stranded civilians who must find a way to destroy the creature that only has one mission: complete annihilation of humanity on Earth

Absolute rubbish. I just left the movie after watching the first half. I am not at all convinced with the story of this movie as it was so boring and slow.
